My business is Peggy May Yarns. I sell hand dyed yarns, knitting patterns I design and accessories for the crafter. Peggy May Yarns is a multi award winning business and very proud of my #SBS win along with #WOW award from Jacqueline Gold CBE and #Queenof award too.
My business originally started off in 2010 with me designing and selling knitwear. As time went on I realised there was much more demand for knitting patterns for people to make themselves and luxury hand dyed yarns.
The name Peggy May comes from my late grandmother of the same name. She taught me to knit so it is in her memory that I started this business.
I have plans to develop my business this year with adding more stock and designing more knitting patterns. I’m also thinking about making project bags for people to use too.
My bespoke custom stamp from stamptastic has been used on all my marketing materials. I have used it on my hand written thank you notes I include in all my parcels and I’m also using the small business logo stamp on my ball bands for my yarns to give it a more professional finish.
